3tbsp.Fresh herbs (basil and parsley) chopped and optional

Instructions
For the BBQ Onions:
Heat a skillet on medium-high heat. Add in a tablespoon of garlic EVOO along with the sliced onions.
Cook for 4 minutes or until golden brown. Stir occasionally. Season the onions with salt and pepper. Reduce the heat to low and cook the onions for 15-20 minutes.
Add in a few tablespoons of water and stir occasionally. Lastly add the BBQ sauce. Allow the BBQ sauce and onions to mingle for 4-5 minutes before using.
For the Bacon Crostini:
Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F. Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
Transfer the baguette slices to the prepared sheet. Drizzle a tablespoon of garlic EVOO over the slices and bake until golden brown (approximately 4 minutes).
Remove the crostini's from the oven.
Spread the whipped cream cheese over the crostini. Top them off with the BBQ onions, chopped bacon, and fresh herbs. Enjoy!
