Korean Glazed Chicken Drumsticks

Ingredients
  

  • 10 Chicken drumsticks
  • 1 tbsp Seasame Oil
  • tbsp Cornstarch
  • 1/2 cup Dark soy sauce
  • 1/2 cup Rice vinegar
  • 1 tsp Ground ginger
  • 2 tsp Red pepper flakes
  • 2 tbsp Fresh Ginger minced
  • 5 gloves Garlic minced
  • 1 tbsp Onion powder
  • 3/4 cup Dark brown sugar
  • 2 tsp Seasame seeds
  • 1 tsp Paprika
  • Freshly ground black pepper
  • Kosher salt

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F.
  • In a small saucepan over medium heat, whisk together cornstarch and seasme oil.
  • Add in the minced garlic, ginger, ground ginger, paprika, seasme seeds, dark brown sugar, dark soy sauce, red pepper flakes, and onion powder. Stir well. Bring the sauce to a simmer and allow to thicken.
  • Spray a 9x13 pan with cooking spray. Season the chicken drumsticks with fresh ground black pepper and salt.
  • Lay the drumsticks out in the pan and brush the sauce generously on all sides of the chicken.
  • Bake for 45-60 minutes. Garnish with fresh green herbs and seasame seeds.
