Korean Glazed Chicken Drumsticks

- 10 Chicken drumsticks
- 1 tbsp Seasame Oil
- 1½ tbsp Cornstarch
- 1/2 cup Dark soy sauce
- 1/2 cup Rice vinegar
- 1 tsp Ground ginger
- 2 tsp Red pepper flakes
- 2 tbsp Fresh Ginger minced
- 5 gloves Garlic minced
- 1 tbsp Onion powder
- 3/4 cup Dark brown sugar
- 2 tsp Seasame seeds
- 1 tsp Paprika
- Freshly ground black pepper
- Kosher salt
Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F.
In a small saucepan over medium heat, whisk together cornstarch and seasme oil.
Add in the minced garlic, ginger, ground ginger, paprika, seasme seeds, dark brown sugar, dark soy sauce, red pepper flakes, and onion powder. Stir well. Bring the sauce to a simmer and allow to thicken.
Spray a 9x13 pan with cooking spray. Season the chicken drumsticks with fresh ground black pepper and salt.
Lay the drumsticks out in the pan and brush the sauce generously on all sides of the chicken.
Bake for 45-60 minutes. Garnish with fresh green herbs and seasame seeds.
