Story Time..

It’s time to go back…way back….back into time. The year is 2015, Saturday, May 9th, 2015 to be exact. I had just graduated from undergrad with a chemical engineering degree. Not to brag….I was blessed enough to have 22 of my family members with me to share in this moment. We had a private celebratory dinner at this restaurant called Bridge Road Bistro in Charleston, WV.

I was early to my own party. So to pass the time, my mom, brother, husband (boyfriend at the time), and myself sat at the bar. We ordered a few drinks, wings, and this incredibly cheesy heaven sent crab dip. Still to this day, we think about that crab dip and how thankful we are for my boss recommending this restaurant. Everything was tasty & delicious.

So, this recipe is inspired by the Bridge Road Bistro restaurant.

How to make Crab Dip

Lump crab meat is definitely the top option for this incredible crab dip. Any who we will be starting off this recipe with roasting some garlic cloves. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F. Slice off the top of the garlic head and drizzle with olive oil and wrap with aluminum foil. Roast the garlic for 25-30 minutes or until lightly brown and tender.

In a large bowl, combine the cream cheese, sour cream, roasted garlic, mayo, green onions, cheese, seasoning, lemon juice, and Worcestershire sauce. Mix well. Transfer to a quart baking dish. Bake for 25 to 35 at 350 degrees F or until brown and bubbling.
