- Kiwi – The star of the show is kiwi. It has a vibrant color, it’s a well balanced piece of fruit which taste sweet and sour at the same time.
- Gin – We love gin….so that’s why it was selected honestly. But if you’re a fan of vodka, feel free to just swap it out.
- Elderflower Liqueur – With summer around the corner, the addition of the elderflower liqueur is heaven at first sip. Not to be confused with cordial syrup, it’s not the same thing. One is a syrup *hint…hint, the other contains alcohol.
- Lime Juice – Transitions this cocktail to a limeade, creating a pleasant playful green delight.
- Simple syrup – To sum up the drink, syrup is added, balancing the flavors.

Simple Syrup
This basic syrup can be used in so many different ways. Rather you use it to make cocktails or to give your cake a boost of moisture before stacking and frosting. To make this syrup add one part sugar and one part water to a small saucepan. Once the sugar dissolves, remove from the heat and allow to cool. Transfer to a glass jar and seal tightly with a lid. Refrigerate until ready for use.
Preparing the Cocktail
Once the simple syrup is made and chilled…the cocktail is simply a breeze. First, muddle the kiwi in a cocktail shaker. Next add the other ingredients along with ice. Lastly strain the cocktail into a glass and garnish with mint and kiwi slices.

Green Delight Cocktail
Ingredients
- 1½ oz. Gin
- ¾ oz. Freshly squeezed lime juice
- ½ oz. St. Germain
- ½ tbsp. Simple syrup
- ½ oz. Kiwi Juice
- ½ cup Water
- ½ cup Sugar
- Fresh mint for garnish
- Kiwi slices for garnish
Instructions
Simple Syrup
- Add the sugar and water into a small saucepan over medium high heat. Stir the sugar until it dissolves.
- Allow it to cool and then pour into an airtight container. Refrigerate for up to 3-4 weeks.
Green Delight Cocktail
- Add the kiwi into a cocktail shaker and briefly muddle them. Then add in the simple syrup, gin, lime juice, St. Germain, and ice. Shake for 15 seconds.
- Strain the cocktail into a glass and garnish with fresh mint and kiwi slices.
