Spaghetti n’ meatballs is a true classic thanks to Lady and the Tramp. This recipe is easy to make, requires minimum effort. It’s delicious, it’s tasty, it’s effortless, it’s our easy spaghetti n’ meatballs recipe!

The Sauce

There’s two ways to make an incredible tomato sauce. Either completely by scratch or the more easier way semi-homemade. If deciding to make this tomato sauce from scratch try our tomato sauce recipe. This tomato sauce will not disappoint filled with fresh herbs, tomatoes of course, and carrots. It’s truly delicious, but if on a time crunch I recommend using a store brought tomato sauce. I know…. I know….some store brought sauces are truly disgusting, but that’s not always the case. Some of our favorite tomato sauces are Rao’s Homemade Marinara Sauce and Monte Bene Spicy Marinara Sauce.

To doc up the sauces add in the following ingredients: fresh oregano, fresh basil, minced garlic, freshly ground black pepper, kosher salt, red pepper flakes, chopped onions, and parsley. Jazzing up the sauce will definitely leave people wondering if it’s homemade.

The Meatballs

Next best thing to this recipe is the meatballs. Once again could either take the time to make the meatballs completely from scratch, or cheat like we recommend. Our favorite natural meatball brand is Nature’s Rancher beef meatballs, which can be found at Whole Foods. These meatballs are pretty darn tasty and can be ready via oven in less than 25 minutes.

The Spaghetti n’ Meatballs

Alright…alright it’s finally time to put everything together. So while the sauce is simmering and the meatballs are cooking in the oven…Let’s bring all our focus to the pasta! In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Cook the pasta as recommended on the box. Once al dente, drain the water. To prevent the pasta from drying out drizzle a little olive oil. In the meantime, transfer the cooked meatballs into the sauce. Allow them to mingle with the sauce for at least 10 minutes before serving. When ready toss the pasta into the sauce and serve immediately.
