Alright on for the main attraction! Making a killer coffee alcoholic beverage, interested?
Less depresso MORE espresso
For Starters, let’s talk about C-O-F-F-E-E BABY! Your first thought might be do I really have to make espresso? Short answer is uhh duh! The name of the drink is what this cocktail is all about. Now if you don’t own a fancy espresso machine or Nespresso machine or other machinery….you still have like so many other options. Option number one, purchase a few shots of espresso from your local coffee shop. Another option make some drip coffee, there’s plenty of Youtube videos that could help with that. Last option make some good ole fancy instant coffee, but extra strong. Try adding 2-4 extra tablespoons of instant coffee and roughly 3-5 ounces of hot water.
Espresso Martini Cocktail Hour
Now that the coffee is handled, make sure it’s chilled before use. Using a cocktail shaker add in the chilled vodka, Kahlua, cocoa bitters, chilled espresso, and ice. Give this cocktail a sturdy shake for roughly 15 seconds. Before pouring into that sophisticated glass of choice, drizzle chocolate syrup into the glass. We used the Torani chocolate hazelnut syrup and oh boy was that tasty! Once adding the chocolate, pour in the espresso martini and garnish with whole coffee beans.
